The visit
How care begins
A brief phone or email conversation to understand hearing concerns, listening goals, location, and whether in-home care is the right fit.
A paid in-home assessment may include audiologic testing, speech-in-noise testing, lifestyle review, device candidacy, tinnitus discussion, family input, and written recommendations. The assessment fee is credited toward premium technology if you move forward through Longview Audiology.
If technology is appropriate, options are explained clearly, including fit, lifestyle, connectivity, tinnitus support, and cost.
Follow-up visits help fine-tune devices, answer questions, and support real-world listening in everyday routines.
Hearing and healthy aging
Untreated hearing loss is increasingly discussed as one part of cognitive health and dementia-risk conversations. Timely evaluation and well-fit technology may help people stay more engaged in conversation, family life, and the routines that keep the mind active.
